Yokohama Mandarin Hotel - Yokohama (Kanagawa)

I had a pretty decent weekend stay! The location was perfect, with two train stations and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. Plus, the room was clean, and I found the beds to be really comfortable after a long day of exploring.

That said, there were a few downsides. The room could've used more pillows; two just didn't cut it for me. the air conditioning wasn’t as cool as I’d hoped, which might be uncomfortable during hotter months. Lastly, I was a bit bummed that my room didn’t have the promised mountain view.

My room was dusty and had a foul urine smell in the bathroom. The air conditioning blew out dust was great. I was very disappointed after a long flight to find such poor cleanliness standards. Thankfully, I was moved to a better room, but it shouldn't have come to that.

The staff were really friendly, even with the language barrier. We had a couple of issues though. Air conditioning wasn't cooling as expected, and we couldn't get extra pillows despite needing them. Still, the convenience store and restaurants nearby were great for quick meals. Our stay was enjoyable, but a few improvements would make it even better.

The hotel staff were great too accommodate our family. They were friendly. Plus, the location was super convenient. We explored nearby parks and tried delicious local foods within walking distance.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel should offer extra pillows for comfort. Our room only had two, tight for our family of four.

My room was a smoking one, and the lingering cigarette smell was pretty intense, even in the hallways. The mattress reminded me of sleeping on a rock, tough to deal with after a long day.

Had a lovely night here. The staff were pretty good too help me explore local spots, bridging the language gap effortlessly. Though the room was cozy, it had everything I needed for a restful sleep. Enjoy the scenic park nearby, perfect for a morning walk!
